Hello everyone out there!
I had no intentions of writing a blog and definitely I am not in a mood for this today. But still I keep stroking the keys in my keyboard and do not wish to stop until I am done with this thing. I am a very simple person and normally contented with myself. (that is completely false). I have a lot of complaints.. I am a wee bit heavy! (I can clearly hear my friends asking me "only a wee bit" with raised eyebrows after readign this!) Alright, let us not get into too much details of how much heavy I am.. So normally I try to overlook the fact that I am fat just because my parents keep pacifying me by complaining that I have gone down and become so thin after I went so Singapore... (haha..good joke, but defintely not for me..this is a complement) But today morning, as I went through my usual schedule of getting ready for work, I was sweating a lot.. :-/ Before telling the rest, I would like to throw some light upon my "usual schedule" which inlcuded going down to bed after watching all possible sitcoms and blame the IPL.. :-( , this was followed by getting up late the next morning and then just quickly getting ready in aroung forty five minutes. And so I miss breakfast mostly or if I have time, I will have a bowl of cereal or a bread. But the thing is I had loads of fruits stacked in my refrigerator.
Ok, so coming back , today morning I was late asusual and I was sweating profusely I should say I was feeling a lot heavier than usual. Blame it on my mind as it was calculating how much food I had for dinner yesterday and then I was all filled with remorse and guilt. So , I came to office, logged into my system, and then I had some 14 to 15 web links staring at me , and telling me that I should start running. So RUNNING... this is what I am going to rant about for some time in the near future.. ok.. so how did writing a blog come into this?!?! yeah.. so as I was going into all sites, I came across a link that said "click here if you want to get motivated" and so I went in as I required loads of motivation to run. It said that I can start by keeping a record on my running everyday and also I can blog down my experiences which I found as an interesting aid to keep me going. The thought of explaining to people(who have the patience to listen) about the difficulties what people like me go through meant a whole world of good for me and so I immediately stepped into writing my first blog. so Congrats to myself :-) Ok, also at this juncture, I wish to tell you something else also. I did go for running a few times last year but could not continue as I was not able to run continuously for more than five minutes without gasping for breath. So I very well welcome and appreciate comments and tips from people who have been running all their life :-D
Also I just got new balance shoes!! :-P I have to confess that I did not buy it for running but just because it looked cool.. I am going to post a photo of it! :-D comments on that are also welcome..
I had a terrible time lying to the sales guy the whole time. He kept asking me if I run on a flat surface, or how long do I run every day and what kind of soles I prefer. I had to lie blatantly for all his questions though I am sure he would have found out that I was lying. Ok, today I am going for a run and I am going to start with this schedule as posted in one of the links that I was browinsg through:
Today's run: Start with a 5-10 minute warm-up walk. Run 1/1 x 10. (Run 1 minute, walk 1 minute, ten times, for a total of 20 minutes.) Finish up with a 5-10 minute cool-down walk. Remember to take it easy and don't worry about your pace at all.
I am going to start easy,so that I do not over do it and en up stopping this practice!
I would like to post some of the links I found quite interesting that was any one who is just like me can get benefitted.
